How private is the information I share on My Legacy Story?
Your privacy is our top priority. Everything you write is securely stored and completely password protected. Only you can access your legacy story unless you choose to share it. You have full control over what, when, and with whom you share.
Who can see my legacy story?
No one but you—unless you decide otherwise. You have the power to share your story with a trusted friend, family member, or support person by invitation. But rest assured: your words remain completely private until you say otherwise.
I’m not a writer. Is this still for me?
Absolutely. This isn’t about perfect grammar or polished paragraphs. It’s about you—your voice, your memories, your reflections. We provide gentle prompts to guide you, and you can write as little or as much as you like.
What if I get stuck or don’t know where to start?
That’s where I come in. I offer optional one-on-one Start Your Story Sessions—a safe, supportive space where we can explore a few questions together, get your ideas flowing, and help you feel grounded and confident as you begin.
Is there a cost to use the platform?
Yes, there is a cost to use the platform. We offer both a monthly and an annual membership so you can choose what works best for you. Your membership helps support the care, quality, and ongoing growth of My Legacy Story, and ensures this space remains private, meaningful, and deeply supportive.
Can I share this with a parent, grandparent, or loved one?
Yes, please do. My Legacy Story is a beautiful bridge between generations. Whether you’re supporting a loved one or helping them record their memories, this is a gift that lasts a lifetime—and beyond.
What kinds of questions are included?
We’ve included over 200 meaningful, reflective questions that touch on everything from early childhood memories to life lessons, personal values, defining moments, and dreams for the future. You can answer the ones that resonate most.
Do I have to finish my story all at once?
Not at all. You can take as much time as you need. Think of it as a living story—you can return whenever inspiration strikes, answer one question a day, or go deeper during special reflection times like birthdays, holidays, or anniversaries.
What format will my legacy story be in?
You’ll have the option to view your story online or print a beautifully formatted version to keep, gift, or store safely. We’re also working on downloadable PDF and keepsake book options.
How do I get started?
It’s easy. Just sign up, choose a few questions that speak to you, and begin writing. If you’d like extra support, you can book a Start Your Story Session with me, where we’ll walk through a few questions together and help you find your flow.
