I often find myself wondering about the lives of my grandparents—not just the dates and places, but the essence of who they were. What were their favorite songs? What made them laugh until they cried? What dreams did they hold close but never speak aloud?
Some of these questions I’ll never be able to answer.
They left this world with stories still tucked inside.
And that, I think, is what started the path that led me here—to My Legacy Story.
Because the truth is, I would give anything to read a letter from my grandmother in her own words, to hear my grandfather speak about his first job or the moment he realized he was in love. I’d treasure even the smallest memory, if it came from their own hearts.
“Legacy isn’t just about passing things down—it’s about passing your ESSENCE down.”
When we share our stories, we leave behind more than facts.
We leave fingerprints of who we truly are.
So I created My Legacy Story not just for the storytellers—but for the ones who will one day sit in quiet moments, aching to feel close to someone they’ve lost.
To hold a piece of their voice.
To see themselves reflected in the stories of where they came from.
“Sometimes we don’t realize how much a story matters until it’s too late to ask.”
This post is for all of us who wish we had asked more.
And it’s for those who still have time to begin.
Start today.
Start small.
Just… start.
Your story matters.
And someone in your future will be so glad you told it.
My Legacy Story
